Brewing coffee with the Hario Next Syphon is an inspiring vacuum coffee brewing experience. It is fascinating to see how all the water flows upwards from the bottom to the top of the syphon, once the heater is turned on. The infusing coffee grounds start to bring out fantastic aromas and the brewing begins.
Moments later, once you turn the heater off, the coffee runs down into the bottom bowl and is ready to be served. There is absolutely nothing like it. The age-old process of syphon brewing, or vacuum extraction, is rapidly gaining popularity once more. If you find yourself next to the Hario 'Next' Syphon you are in for a real treat. It comes with an alcohol burner which means all you have to do is get the coffee beans and you will be ready to brew the best coffee in the world in a spectacular fashion.
5 Cup Design
Hario has improved their own coffee syphon which is why it has been called Hario Next. It has an updated ergonomic design which includes an improved lower bowl heating process, stylish and comfortable handle, and a metal filter. The upper and lower bowls are made of heat-resistant borosilicate glass which is very easy to clean.
Hario has re-imagined the syphon. By starting from scratch with the handle design, making it more usable than ever they have updated the aesthetics significantly, bringing the legendary syphon into the modern age.
However, it's not just aesthetics getting an update. Along with the classic cloth filter, Hario has designed an amazing metal filter that gives your coffee more body and leaves a little sediment - akin to an Able Kone filter.
Everything you need comes in the box, apart from the alcohol to fuel the included burner.
