The Rocket R58 Cinquantotto Dual Boiler 2020 is Rocket's premium E61 manual lever espresso coffee machine. Beautifully designed, it provides fantastic temperature stability through its commercial-grade components. Handmade in Milan, these traditional machines are among the very best in the world!

The Rocket R58 is the most popular dual-boiler coffee machine sold by Rocket. The secret to its success is simple: high quality, incredible looks and packed with the latest technology.

The Rocket Espresso R Cinquantotto features dual boilers, each regulated by a PID temperature controller for consistent brewing. Its rotary pump is near-silent and lets you plumb the machine directly into a water line for even easier operation.

With Cinquantotto translating to 58 in Italian, this represents the independent 580ml espresso boiler used for espresso extraction in this top-tier prosumer espresso machine. Dual independently operated PID-controlled boilers allow for optimum extraction of any coffee type or roast style.

What sets the R58 apart from the rest of the Rocket range is its separate insulated brass boilers for both brewing and steam.  These enable the simultaneous brewing of espresso and steaming of milk with ultimate temperature control and stability.  The fully programmable PID (electronic temperature control), uses sensors inside the boilers to deliver precise temperatures, ensuring stability to within 1°C. This feature allows for precise adjustments to suit specific types of coffee.

The R58 offers a commercial-grade rotary pump, separate boiler and pump pressure gauges, a cool touch technology (anti-burn) stainless steel steam wand, a separate hot water tap, a large stainless steel drip tray, and a large cup warmer.

The R58 runs from its internal reservoir by default but comes with a full kit to connect to the mains water supply if preferred. It features microprocessor-controlled, automatic level controls on the boiler and a freshwater reservoir. This means water is automatically drawn from the reservoir into the boiler, plus it protects the boiler from burnout should the supply of water run out.  Additionally, it comes with a number of accessories.

Commercial grade rotary pump draws from the machine's internal water reservoir or allows for the machine to have a direct water connection from your water supply. Machine functions are controlled by the touch screen communication pod that now includes an automatic on/off function – your machine is ready to go whenever you need coffee. The communication pod can easily be removed from the machine to retain the aesthetic that is Rocket Espresso.

The R58 may be classed as a domestic machine, but it is considerably powerful, capable of producing excellent espresso and perfect micro-foam for flat whites, lattes and cappuccinos at a level that is normally only seen in commercial equipment.

The Rocket R58 DB (Dual Boiler) 2020 comes with a standard 1 year back to base warranty (domestic use only) with You Barista.  Please see our terms and conditions page for further information.
